MasterChef 11 has experienced one of its most emotional episodes today. The applicants received some very special news: they had to cook for the elderly at the Pinar de Aravaca Residence in Madrid. What they did not expect is that their grandparents and grandmothers would be among the diners, a visit that has left more than one with tears in their eyes.
This is the case of Ãlex, a MasterChef contestant who has been stunned when distributing the dishes. The young man approached a table to serve when he saw two familiar faces there, those of his grandmothers: “Don’t cry Toñi, if you cry, I’ll cry too”, they said to each other. Ãlex, totally moved, has launched to embrace his two grandmothers to whom he has dedicated some tender words: “Seeing my grandmothers here gives me tremendous hope and strength. I love you so much”.
Ãlex already began the chapter remembering his grandmothers; During cooking, the young man recalled a very special scene that he shared with one of them during his time at MasterChef Junior 4, when he was able to carry out a joint recipe. Likewise, the young man has moved the public after revealing that one of his grandmothers suffers from Alzheimer’s, something that has seriously affected his health.
Among the contestants who have been surprised by this unexpected visit is Luca: “I’m freaking out. My goodness, what are my grandparents doing here? I’m in shock,” revealed the content creator on TikTok. The young man also dedicated a few words to his elders: “For me they are an inspiration, since I was little they have taught me to be free. They have let me be just the way I am. I love them. They are very important to me,” explained a Luca most moved.
