Marta López Álamo replies to Laura Escanes after giving her opinion on couples with an age difference: “There are a thousand factors…”

Laura Escanes has shown in recent months that she has decided not to keep quiet about anything she thinks. Among other things, she did not hesitate to comment on her ex Álvaro de Luna’s ‘revenge’ songs, dedicated to her. And now, she has also not hesitated to speak clearly about what she thinks about the age difference in relationships.

Although he was with Risto Mejide for 7 years, with whom he had been together for 22, now he does not see it as “viable” for this to happen. “I truly believed that a couple with an age difference is viable and if there is love, absolutely nothing happens, summary. Now I think not,” she revealed in the podcast The Meaning of Beer.

“There are many factors that do affect it. One, the most important, is the vital moment,” he added firmly, dropping that he would not have a relationship like that again. “When there is such a difference in age that it is 20 years (…) He has experienced infinite things more than you, he has an experience that you do not have, you have to give up many things to continue with that couple project (… ) There comes a time when that doesn’t make you happy,” he stated.

Given this, Marta López Álamo could not remain silent. The model is happily married to Kiko Matamoros, with whom she is 41 years apart. Something that she herself sees no problem with.

“Watching certain interviews, I believe that one should not generalize or associate behavior with an age or a personality with an age,” the influencer began to relate about Escanes’ words. Likewise, she wanted to put on the table that everything depends on the couple’s situation.

After stating that there are “a thousand factors” that influence whether a relationship with an age difference can “be viable in the short, medium or long term,” he continued by saying that he respects other opinions.

Hours after these words, he had to turn to his social networks again to qualify them and make it clear that they were not an attack on Laura Escanes. “His opinion of her was one and now it is another because of the experience she has had. The only thing I said is that not only age influences whether you continue or leave a relationship,” she said.

Furthermore, he has reported that this change of opinion on the part of the Catalan is “evolving” and does not mean that it is something good or bad: “She has simply had experiences that have led her to think that.”
