Marta Díaz can boast of being one of the most recognized Spanish influencers at a national and international level. The Sevillian has become one of the social media stars that draws the most interest, with more than 3.4 million followers. A fame that has increased with the launch of her Prime Video documentary La vida de Marta Díaz.

Although she is at her best professionally, a few days ago the news broke of her breakup with Manchester United footballer Sergio Reguilón. She herself made it clear on her Instagram account, speaking about him in the past tense. “He has been a very important pillar for me,” she said. Now, she wanted to talk about the acne problem that she suffers from on her face and that creates a lot of insecurity in her.

The world of influencers is often responsible for selling a perfect life, which is difficult to achieve. However, it is those who dare to explain the reality of their daily lives who end up managing to better engage the public. Something that Marta Díaz is clear about. Without cutting herself, she has not hesitated to publish images of her face full of acne to explain her experience.

“Honestly, I’m worse than ever. I haven’t had skin like this in years,” the Andalusian began to relate. It was all because she had decided to stop taking the medication she had been prescribed to combat acne. “I saw that I was doing great, I stopped taking them suddenly, and that’s exactly why it had the opposite effect on me,” she added.

A problem that makes him “sad” because, despite having a solution, he is not coping well: “Seeing my skin like this is costing me.” However, he does not throw in the towel and has not hesitated to go to his dermatologist. “He told me that it’s not normal at my age to have such pronounced acne. It’s something hormonal, I’m going to go get some tests done,” he said.

Although it is something that she has tried to avoid, Marta Díaz has revealed that she will have to undergo the “strongest” treatment that will generate “heavy side effects.” Still, it’s the only way she can end it.

After this confession, the influencer has received messages of support. “I notice that you always try to downplay an issue that affects you because of what people will say,” said one of her followers. “It’s normal for you to feel sad,” she added.

Given this, Marta Díaz could not do anything other than get excited. “It’s because of people like that that I get to show that ‘vulnerable’ part of me,” she said. “Lately it’s been a bit difficult for me to do photocalls or interviews or the simple fact of going to train without makeup,” she confessed.
