Marta Chávarri, Natalia Figueroa and Raphael: This is the family bond that united them

The sad news of the death of the former Marchioness of Cubas, Marta Chávarri at the age of 62 at her home in the Madrid neighborhood of Salamanca, has shocked her family. Chávarri came from a large family, very close, and where beyond Maria and Isabel, her sisters, her aunt Natalia Figueroa also had a strong influence.

Daughter of Ambassador Tomás Chávarri, and great-granddaughter of the Count of Romanones, Marta soon had to face an important loss: that of her mother. Matilde Figueroa, daughter of the Marquis of Santo Floro, passed away when Marta was only 19 years old and that is why her bond with her sisters and her aunt became so strong.

Natalia Figueroa, her aunt, was a great support in the hardest moments of the young Marta Chávarri, and helped her overcome a loss of such magnitude in the best possible way. Thanks to that, they developed a great complicity. So much so that Natalia witnessed her girlfriend the day she married Fernando Falcó in 1982 and her eldest children, Jacobo and Alejandra, were in charge of carrying the earnest money.

On the other hand, Álvaro is the only child born from the marriage between Marta and Fernando Falcó himself, Marquis of Cubas, who passed away a few years ago (November 2020).

Álvaro Falcó, as we say, is the only son of the marriage between Marta Chávarri and Fernando Falcó, he has been a close friend of Manuel Martos since he was a child, son of Natalia Figueroa and the singer Raphael. Proof of this is that on Álvaro’s wedding day they shared two photos showing the great relationship they have had since they were children.

Natalia Figueroa and Raphael met in Madrid in 1968. Little by little they got to know each other and after a good friendship, love ended up emerging. The couple got married in Venice on July 14, 1972, and over the years they had three children: Jacobo, Alejandra and Manuel Martos. The couple recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
