Marian Rojas Estapé explains what we should do when someone hurts us: “When I understand the other person I feel relieved”

Psychiatrist Marian Rojas Estapé is an expert in advising people about difficult situations that may arise in life. This time she has done it referring to when a person feels hurt by another.

In a ‘short’ uploaded to YouTube by the @reinoderiquezas channel, Rojas Estapé comments that by understanding the other person better, “we can understand what is happening to them. When I understand the other person I feel relieved.”

Estapé goes on to say in this sense that “when I understand their circumstances, what underlies their life, their human relationships,” the person feels relieved because they do not judge so “harshly.”

One of his conclusions is that we must “move on to forgiveness,” since a “resentful” heart cannot find happiness: “Forgiving is looking at that person and saying ‘it doesn’t affect me that much anymore’ because I try to understand that what they “You were right.”

To finish her reflection, Marian Rojas Estapé warns: “When you can’t manage it, you still have to stay away from that person, because otherwise you run the risk of getting sick and suffering too much.”

Rojas Estapé has written two books in which, according to his own website, he tries to make the mind “something simple and easy to understand”: ‘How to make good things happen to you’ and ‘Find your vitamin person’.
