The influencer world is gaining more and more interest in society through social networks. Their private lives, their projects and their publications make many people decide to follow these figures. María Pombo and Laura Escanes are two of the most influential Spanish women on Instagram, with 3.1 and 1.9 million followers respectively.
For this reason, it is not surprising that the latest episode of the Catalan’s podcast, Between the sky and the clouds, in which the two appear together, is creating a great stir. Among other things, Pombo has not hesitated to talk about his problems at school, his insecurities and the surgeries he has had to undergo.
“I tell my life through the nose,” María Pombo began to relate in one of the podcast previews. A statement that has left Laura Escanes with her mouth open and laughing. “I met you with the first nose, that is, with my broken nose,” the Madrid native continued.
Given this, the Catalan woman wanted to ask if she was wearing her “official nose” the day they met. Something that Pombo has denied. “I have four noses. I was born with one nose, which was my nose, very cute. Then I broke it twice, and there is my second nose, which was the one where I said: ‘No, I have to have surgery,'” he said. the Madrid one.
But it seems that María Pombo’s life has been full of accidents. The influencer has broken her nasal septum on more than one occasion. “I broke my nose when I was nine years old and then when I was twelve. Twice. Once, a German Shorthaired Pointer, which was my dog, fell on me in the pool,” she said.
That was one of the worst moments that the Madrid native experienced in her life. “I mean, I jumped and when I got out he fell on top of me and crushed me. Heavy,” she continued. However, they did not have to operate: “they simply placed it in the hospital and it was terrible.”
The second time María Pombo broke her nose was in a crash car: “And that’s when I fainted.” After this, the influencer decided to have surgery years later to be able to have her nose again.
However, it did not go as expected: “It was bad for me and I had another operation.” This last operation occurred in 2020, when the Madrid native was at one of the peaks of her popularity.
After this confession on Laura Escanes’ podcast, the criticism was immediate. “Let’s stop making these people rich, please,” said an Instagram user. “They only use the head to wear their hair,” said another person.
But that is not all. “Please don’t have children. We are extinct and we deserve it”, “How lazy the girls are…” or “How tiresome the Pombos are… there really is no one more interesting???”, have been some of these comments.
