María Peláe reveals what happened in the WhatsApp group of the 'Benidorm Fest' participants: "I left and everything"

The talented singer-songwriter and composer originally from Malaga, María Peláe was present in the eighth episode of ‘A Good Moment’, the video podcast directed by Carolina Iglesias. In this new interview, Peláe addressed several topics, including her recent participation in the Benidorm Fest 2024, where she presented her song “Remitente.”

The singer openly explained a small problem she had with the festival’s WhatsApp group on one of the last nights. She admitted that she got a little nervous about what her classmates would say, but that, in the end, they ended up forgiving her and it all became an anecdote about her.

Her vocal talent did not go unnoticed at the event in Alicante, where “Remitente” stood out as one of the most acclaimed performances by both the audience and critics.

The artist reveals that she has not yet completely overcome the experience of the Benidorm Fest: “It has been a very intense few months, both physically and mentally,” she admits with a nostalgic and relieved tone at the same time.

Despite having more than ten years of experience in music, Peláe had never before ventured into a competition of this magnitude, outside of author song contests.

“It turned out to be an extraordinary experience, although also an accelerated learning process,” he recalls with a laugh. María immersed herself in the media whirlwind and competition of the Benidorm Fest.

“You immerse yourself in a microworld where you long for everything to turn out perfectly,” María explained with a smile on her face, remembering that she also takes away from what she has experienced countless good friends with whom there is still much to share.
