The tension continues to rise on the set of Sálvame. Last week it was revealed that several clothing brands had approved a new code of conduct for program collaborators, with the aim of ensuring the proper use of the clothes they are given to wear and promote during the broadcast.
As these brands leaked, some of these collaborators returned the borrowed clothes dirty, in poor condition or did not do so at all. For this reason, these companies decided to establish clear conditions to avoid this type of abusive practices.
Among the most pointed out in this controversy was the usual collaborator MarÃa Patiño. Apparently, the journalist has not taken anything well having appeared named in this scandal. “If I’ve done something wrong, I don’t mind apologizing, but I’ve been working with two brands for six years and it bothers me that they play with my image. I am one of the people who when I want something I pay for it and I refuse to be invited â€, she stated during her appearance by videoconference in Save me this afternoon.
Upon listening to her, Rafa Mora has questioned the statements of his partner, thus starting a tense discussion. “Nobody can claim that I return the dirty clothes,” said the Valencian collaborator. “With me you shut your mouth,” Patiño responded aggressively.
Shortly after this encounter, MarÃa Patiño has broken down in tears. “It is very difficult for me to do things well so that it does not harm the program or my image,” she has acknowledged through tears.
However, the testimony that has caused the definitive explosion has been that of the renowned stylist Fran Larrañaga. The also art director has charged hard against Lydia Lozano and the presenter of Socialité: “They are bad, the worst. Maria is difficult to work with. Maybe she’s not the worst in how she returns her clothes, but the stylists who have worked with her tell things that we can’t tell here. There are brands that do not want to sell MarÃa because her returns are not what is expected â€, he revealed.
After these words, MarÃa Patiño has gone into a rage. “I have never seen such a deceitful person. I am not going to accept this, if that is what you want to convey from my image, I am very clear about what I am going to do â€, she has warned, visibly indignant.
“I am not a model nor do I pretend to be. And if this man wants to make content out of this, I’ll buy it, but above all, there are the 25 years that I’ve been working like a son of a bitch. So I’m not going to allow this. And if you allow me, Jorge, I’m going home to walk my dog, â€she said, visibly nervous, before leaving the program suddenly and without giving any further explanation.
We will see how this whole soap opera ends about the use of borrowed clothes in Sálvame. For the moment, what we know is that it has served to warm up many spirits in the afternoons of Telecinco.
