Surely you have a wild makeup look for your day to day. That certain success that you can make almost with your eyes closed and it hardly takes time every morning. But when we feel like showing off a little more or we have a special occasion, we use brushes to display our creative skills.

In this sense, it is convenient to have on the radar the leading trends in makeup each season. This spring of 2023 and also facing the imminent summer, the opposite extremes are taking place. On the one hand, daytime makeup looks natural, while at night we raise the level with more daring compositions. Of course, there is a common element that will take the lead: luminous, juicy skin with a ‘glow’ effect.

This makeup trend has been running among the most popular for several years, but it will hit harder than ever this spring and summer. With the heat, we feel like more natural makeup, not heavy and overloaded. What this aesthetic pursues is that it seems that you are not wearing makeup, showing off a healthy and well-cared complexion.

To do this, you must first find a good facial care routine with which to keep imperfections under control. Use products aimed at hydration and luminosity, to have a radiant complexion. Moving on to makeup, opt for light products, like a BB cream instead of a high-coverage foundation; blushes, lipsticks and shadows in neutral tones and subtle highlighters. In fact, nude and pastel pink colors will take center stage.

Say goodbye – at least until further notice – to your lipsticks with a matte finish. This summer season, lips are dressed in juicy, shiny gloss with a vinyl effect. It doesn’t matter if you choose them in transparent, soft pink, nude or earth tones, the goal is for them to be very bright. If they also have an ingredient that produces fuller lips, such as hyaluronic acid, all the better.

We all know that excessive exposure to the sun is very harmful, but it is also true that the tanned effect is most flattering. For this reason, the trend to achieve that finish thanks to makeup prevails. Start by applying a cream bronzer contour that enhances the features and then blend very well.

Next, use a blush, preferably also a cream one, in a deep pink shade. Apply it to the cheeks, the bridge of the nose and even the eyelids. This way you will recreate that kind of reddish and tanned face after having sunbathed.

For your evening make-up, whether it is for a dinner or a party, there are no limits. The objective is to attract attention and for this you can use eye shadows in bright colors, glitter finishes, rhinestone appliqués and very marked lines with abstract drawings.
