The eighth edition of MasterChef Celebrity, after giving up its space last week to the Latin Grammy gala, has returned with renewed energy to the TVE screen. Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, Blanca Romero, Daniel Illescas, Toñi Moreno and Laura Londoño immersed themselves in the history of Andalusian gastronomy on a special visit to Córdoba.
Muñoz Escassi has been one of the names of this edition from the beginning. Beyond his career as a jockey, he is known for his extensive love history. However, it seems that he has managed to settle down hand in hand with María José Suárez, with whom he has shared his life since 2021.
The model and presenter, who together with her son Elías sent a video to the rider, was Muñoz Escassi’s kitchen assistant in the first test. Before starting to cook, the Sevillian did not skimp on devoting affectionate words to the model.

The love story between Álvaro Muñoz Escassi and María José Suárez began in the Dominican Republic. María José, at that time, was married and lived there due to her ex-husband’s work. Although both had known each other for a long time, Escassi contacted María José to rent her a house for Christmas, but she did not respond to her request.
Finally, after the amicable separation from her previous partner, the model returned to Seville, which facilitated her approach to Escassi despite his reputation as a womanizer.
