Lucía Rivera has been able to fulfill the dream of dedicating herself to one of the most complicated professions in the world: being a professional model. The daughter of the bullfighter Cayetano Rivera and the actress Blanca Romero has been able to pose on some of the best-known catwalks in Europe and the rest of the planet, thanks to her status on social networks as an influencer. However, it is not a simple world at all, full of hidden features that can surprise more than one person.

This has been detailed by the woman from Madrid in an interview for Las Uñas, the Flooxer program in which Sindy Takanashi talks to different personalities while giving them a manicure. On this occasion, Rivera has been able to talk about her double trajectory, both as an influencer and as a model. This last aspect of his life is the one that he has put in the spotlight the most, confessing an unpleasant experience a few weeks after trying to participate in a pass in France.

Rivera referred to a moment that he experienced shortly after taking his first steps in the world of fashion shows. There he made it clear to him that bodily impositions are the order of the day, judging by his interactions with Takanashi. However, a few days after heading to a new event, a request that was thrown at her completely upset her: “I went in, I was going to go to Paris and they told me, ‘For Paris you have to be anorexic'”. An affirmation that she completely disconcerted the hostess of her.

Another controversial comment surfaced shortly before this mention. “For example, they even told me that spinach swelled, not to eat spinach.” After this revelation and Paris’s comment, Sindy Takanashi questioned in astonishment if those were the literal words they used with Rivera. “But they say it between thanks, so you take it as a grace, especially with so few years, because maybe he tells me now and I tell him, ‘And you too, I don’t know'”, added the model to her answer.

Even so, he explained that immediately after the people involved in that controversial comment tried to qualify his words. “But then the good cop came out and said, ‘You don’t have to be, you have to look like it,'” she shared with Takanashi, who was stunned by Rivera’s remarks. The full interview takes an in-depth look at these behind-the-scenes issues of the world of catwalks and models, where appearance is the main factor.

Precisely Lucía Rivera has not been afraid to express herself against the traditional physical and emotional archetypes. In an interview for Magazine last month, the influencer highlighted wanting to stay as she is to feel good about herself. “Do not stop being yourself to please the rest. Don’t try to be what they expect of you. Fear is normal and it is a mirage of what matters to you; You must not let it paralyze you, much less silence you, ”she commented.

Previously, Takanashi and Rivera participated together in a collaboration with La Vanguardia to celebrate 8-M. During their talk without filters, in which Lucía was the interviewer and Sindy the interviewee, they talked about micromachismos to unlearn.

During the promotion of his book, Rivera also spoke with this medium about his difficult beginnings in the world of modeling. “It’s terrible to grow up obsessed with your body. Models start very small and in the fashion world there are many very cruel people. People who constantly tell you ‘you’re not worth it’, ‘you’re too thin’, ‘now too fat’ ‘get on chest’ and ‘now, take it off’. Not everyone in this world is like that, but I have really met people who have caused me disorders. Obsessions with my body that are not good, “he said.
