With the arrival of good weather we adapt our closet to the warm temperatures. We look for colors that inspire us the joy of the summer season, lighter fabrics and vaporous textures with which to ventilate the skin. We also adapt our facial care, prioritizing sun protection and a healthy tan.

Makeup is another aspect that we adapt to the time. We look for the cutting-edge trends in makeup, light coverage foundations so as not to feel heavy skin, a luminous and very flattering finish. And, of course, colognes and perfumes also evolve over the seasons.

Smells are a very personal matter, where particular taste has a lot of weight. We do not allow ourselves to be influenced by fashions, but finding our personal aroma is something intimate and genuine. However, there is a criterion where almost all of us agree: in spring and summer, we fancy fresh smells.

Temperatures rise and we want to find a light, fresh smell that does not feel heavy or saturate us. The one we associate with breathing fresh air in nature, the sea breeze caressing us, freshly cut grass, a bouquet of flowers and a plate of juicy fruit. Summer in all its essence.

The fresh aromas are closely linked to that characteristic clean smell that we like so much. A pure, simple but exquisite essence, with which to feel like you just got out of the shower all day. Although there are those who opt for this type of fragrance throughout the year, fresh and clean scents take on special prominence in spring and summer, since with the heat we do not want to saturate our nose.

The first step to finding a fresh scent is to look through the selection of colognes and eau de parfum. Although there are always exceptions, as a general rule perfumes have denser and stronger scents, while colognes and perfume waters are lighter.

If you want a fresh cologne, look among the citrus and floral olfactory families. the former are light and soft, ideal for the season. They must include ingredients from citrus fruits and plants, such as lemon, lime, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, yuzu, bergamot, orange blossom… Also notes of pepper, pink pepper and basil with which to elevate the fruity essence.

Moving on to floral scents, if you want it to be fresh and subtle, go for tuberose, jasmine, iris flower, peony, orange blossom, lavender and violet. To sweeten it in its proper measure, musk and vanilla are safe bets. In case you prefer an essence that transports you to nature, mint and moss are your olfactory allies.
