A few days ago it was one year since Concha Velasco entered a residence to receive the care her delicate state of health requires. His son Manuel has been the one who has been giving small notes on his mother’s condition during all these months, but last week all the alarms went off after an image of the actress in which she appeared visibly deteriorated, together with the representative Susana Uribarri.

Despite the fact that Manuel Velasco assured that his mother was still delicate “but very stable”, concerns about the state of health of the actress have not stopped happening. She was one of the great ones remembered in the first edition of the Talía Awards, where friends like Lola Herrera told how she is at the moment.

Herrera, who continues his career on stage at 87 years of age, received a well-deserved award for a lifetime dedicated to the performing arts and what remains, because he is clear that he does not intend to get off the stage because it is his place .

Minutes before receiving the applause and affection from her colleagues, the actress had a moment to attend to the reporters and remember her friend, whom she “misses”.

“She is there, she is very careful. Within the possibilities she is very well. She is a fighter, she always has been. I miss her,” he assured the media.

Also the actress Gemma Cuervo, who did not want to miss the great night of her daughter Cayetana as president of the Academy of Performing Arts -who awarded the awards-, had a moment to remember Concha.

The actress remains in the residence where she entered a year ago, receiving the necessary care given her delicate state of health. Manuel Velasco assures that everything remains stable, but her followers continue to be concerned, since the Valladolid woman suffered a small scare just a few months ago that made her enter the hospital, where she had to stay for several days.

The actress has been ill since the end of summer 2021, worsening her health “quickly and progressively due to her illness”, as her children reported back in the day. Some children, Manuel and Francisco, who have not been separated from her for a single moment. Neither do her friends and her professional colleagues, who come to the center regularly to visit her.
