If there is anyone who knows how to handle a breakup, it is Chenoa. The singer has had the bad luck of experiencing some of her painful disappointments in front of the gallery, and in addition to a broken heart she has had the odd anecdote left to tell in the years to come.
The Operación Triunfo presenter was the guest of Take it less seriously!, on Europa FM, and told one of those anecdotes, which left more than one speechless. Specifically, the artist referred to why she was not invited to the Goya Awards and, according to her, everything was due to a previous relationship that more than one of her identified as the one she had with the actor Álex González.
The singer told the program that “The Goyas broke up my relationship with someone,” explaining that “we were posing on the red carpet and the press started: ‘No, just her, just her’; and I told them: ‘But yeah he is the nominee.” According to the artist, “those things are not managed well,” and since then, she has not been invited to the awards again.
An anecdote that he told between laughs, but that more than one was quick to point towards the actor Álex González as “the nominee”, because when they were dating he was 25 years old and was taking his first steps as an actor and was nominated for Best New Actor for his performance in Segundo Asalto, a film directed by Miguel Cebrián.
Given such a scenario, the actor’s reaction was the most expected. Thus, the media took advantage of the inauguration of Rhudo, the new restaurant that the actor has opened with other friends and colleagues such as Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Paco Roncero, Antoine Griezmann and Marcos Llorente in Madrid; to ask him about the topic.
Far from being upset, the interpreter could not help but joke about the subject. “But 19 years ago!” He said, laughing.
“I know that Laura is very discreet and it surprises me that she talks about something like that. I’m sure it’s not me,” he said, laughing, assuring that he remembered almost nothing about that day. “If after 19 years I have not cleared up the doubts… I hope that in 20 years you will not continue asking me about the same thing,” she concluded.
The two had met while filming Hospital Central, and had a relationship that lasted approximately a year. During that time, they attended the Goya ceremony together that year, in 2006. Of course, few could suspect that shortly after they would end their romance.
Both maintain a cordial relationship, as has been seen by the attitude of the actor, who undoubtedly has great affection for his former partner. Currently, the actor is enjoying a great moment on all levels, because in addition to his new business adventure, the interpreter is living a discreet and stable romance with Camila Rojido, an attractive doctor with whom he has been with for several months.
