Lara Álvarez left Supervivientes two editions ago to be replaced by Laura Madrueño, for whom she only has positive qualifiers, and has recently signed her departure from Mediaset. So now she no longer has any impediment that stops her from expressing opinions about what was her home.

And the Asturian, in the last few hours, has criticized Survivors for the dynamic they have installed this year as something new and positive: the use of artificial intelligence to present a part of the contest.

The introduction of Alba Renai, the virtual presenter for certain online segments of Survivors, has raised eyebrows in the sector. When consulted by journalists, Lara Álvarez did not hesitate to express her point of view on the measure: “I continue to bet on human talent and on people who are very eager and are preparing themselves.”

In this way, the communicator has joined the critics who point out that Renai’s election is an attack against workers in the audiovisual sector. “I have recently been teaching a course for future communicators and it seems to me that there is so much talent in our country, so much desire and so much need for opportunities that I advocate for human talent, really,” she said.

Furthermore, Álvarez has indicated that technology is incapable of replicating the emotion and genuine commitment of human beings: “Artificial intelligence will never achieve the passion and dedication that communicators like us who live by and for this can have. I I believe in people.”
