Lali Esposito is on a roll. The Argentine singer and actress received last week in the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires the recognition of her as an outstanding personality of Culture, not in vain she came from filling the Vélez Sarfield stadium with her Discipline Tour. Now we have just learned that she will be the guest star at the closing party of the Kings League, the successful experiment between Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos, to be held at the Camp Nou.
Last Thursday, Lali Esposito felt more on top than ever. She had consecrated herself as a prophet in his land: “Thanks to all the deputies for this, I would never have thought of something like that. You can’t imagine representing the women I admire or the men I work with and all the people around me. Obviously I’m excited. It doesn’t matter the project or the discs. Our job is to move the other, generate empathy. Thank you for all this.” The Argentine artist will continue her tour through Alicante, Asturias, Gran Canaria and Valencia, among other Spanish provinces.
Mariana Espósito (Buenos Aires, 1991) settled as Lali out of love for her brother, who had a harder time pronouncing the diminutive Mari as a child. The daughter of a medical visitor and a soccer coach, she chose neither balls nor prospects but artistic expression. She does everything and very well. As a child she began with small shows and children’s series, then she came to advertising and at only 17 years old she was one of the Teen Angels, a youth band that caused a sensation in Argentina. In parallel, she developed her ascending career as an actress: Las brujas de Salem, Permitidos, Acusada… and Sky Rojo arrived –with Verónica Sánchez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Asier Etxeandía– and her international takeoff thanks to Netflix.
