Kevin Costner begins February with enthusiasm, and the actor has confessed to being “in love” again. The “culprit” of these new feelings is none other than a small Labrador puppy, the Oscar-winning director’s latest addition to his large family.
A new love that will undoubtedly brighten the actor’s days now that he begins a new stage as a single man after his controversial divorce from his wife of almost two decades, Christine Baumgarter, who a few weeks ago confirmed her new relationship with the man. Until now he had been the couple’s neighbor, Josh Connor.
The actor, for his part, introduced his new partner through Instagram with a tender dedication in which he confirmed that he was the “new addition to the family”, and that “he was already in love with this special boy”, for which has not even taken time for the connection between them to arise.
The puppy is a beauty, and Costner wanted to show him off on the social network, with thousands of his followers giving the dog compliments of all kinds.
At the moment, the dog has no known name, but the actor will surely baptize him with one soon. His followers have been quick to give him all kinds of nicknames, such as Monada, Costny or Kasey, among others.
“It’s beautiful. The dog is man’s best friend,” says one of his followers. “What a beauty. I’m sure you will become great friends. I hope she joins you on your great adventures.”
The 69-year-old actor has just finalized his divorce with his ex-wife, Christine, who requested the dissolution of their marriage in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences after almost two decades of relationship and three children in common: Cayden ( 16), Hayes (14) and Grace (13).
After four months of court battle, the actor and his ex-wife reached a divorce agreement. The details are unknown, but he will spend 63,000 euros per month in maintenance and some of his property.
This is not the first marriage of the actor, who was previously married to Cindy Silva – from 1978 to 1994 -, as a result of which his daughters Annie (39), Lily (37) and Joe (36) were born. His son, Liam (26), was born from his relationship with his ex-partner, Bridget Rooney.
