Juan del Val's reproach to Nuria Roca that ends in an argument in 'El Hormiguero'

This Thursday, Pablo Motos closed the week of El Hormiguero with the visit of actress Carmen Maura, who is in full promotion of her latest film, My Other Jon. Apart from talking about the professional field, she also made a surprising confession about her personal life by acknowledging that she lived twelve years apart from her children.

At the end of the interview came, like every week, the current affairs discussion with Tamara Falcó, Cristina Pardo, Nuria Roca and Juan del Val. However, the couple ended up becoming the real protagonists due to the writer’s reproach to the presenter, which led to a monumental live fight. And all for a gift!

It happened just before talking about Hispanic Heritage Day and the military parade where the Princess of Asturias had debuted dressed in uniform. At that moment, Pablo Motos wanted to know how Nuria Roca’s trip to Los Angeles had gone.

“I come from Los Angeles,” the presenter began. “Of course, because you advertise in Los Angeles,” said the Valencian, implying that his partner has a certain fame. “Hey, I’m going to Los Angeles, I’m in Los Angeles for a day and a half because I go and come back,” the journalist said.

“Day and a half and a little more,” her husband Juan del Val told her with some reproach. “How?” she was surprised. “You’re going to forgive me. I took the plane yesterday afternoon and I arrived this morning. It’s a day and a half,” Roca made clear. Then, her colleagues Tamara Falcó and Cristina Pardo came to her defense. “It’s a ten-hour flight, the jet-lag, I’m super tired,” she revealed.

Then, Del Val couldn’t contain himself and tell him something that he had kept inside. It was a reproach: “However, you did have time to go shopping.” To which the presenter replied: “Let’s see, I’m not going to be working for a day and a half.”

However, the writer was not happy at all. And it seems that, while Nuria had spent almost sixty dollars on a breakfast, she had only given her husband a t-shirt from a hamburger restaurant valued at five euros. But not only that, but it took a lot more things for her children than it did for him.

This detail did not please Del Val at all, who had a good argument (jokingly) with his wife calling her tacky. In fact, the rest of the members of the table ended up agreeing with Juan.
