José Ramón Sacristán, a well-known hairdresser and makeup artist, died last Wednesday at the age of 45. The stylist currently worked at Telemadrid, although he also worked for years as an image supervisor for presenters and collaborators of the main networks of the Atresmedia group.
Joserra, as his colleagues and friends called him, whose image he cared for with care and dedication, died unexpectedly at his mother’s house in Leganés, where he went daily as her main caregiver due to his advanced age. Last Monday, however, he set off alarms among his colleagues by informing them that they had detected a possible lung infection.
The stylist was returning from his vacation and told his Telemadrid colleagues that he was not feeling too well, informing them that they had detected this possible infection in his lungs, which seems to have finally ended his life. The official reason for his death is unknown at this time.
Sacristán had spent the last year dedicated to developing his work on the program Buenos Días, Madrid, where they have been devastated by his loss. From the chain, they have issued a statement through their social networks to send their condolences and point out that they will always fondly remember the hairdresser, who did everything possible to spread his humor and optimism wherever he was.
“At Telemadrid, we deeply regret his loss and convey our deepest condolences to his family and friends. All his colleagues from Telemadrid, Onda Madrid and the multimedia area, and especially from the hair and makeup department, will always remember him with affection,” writes the network in X (former Twitter), to remember one of its most beloved workers. .
Sacristán’s departure leaves a void among the network’s workers, who applaud his indelible television legacy. A death that makes us appreciate even more the work of all those professionals who, from behind the cameras, contribute to television stars shining like never before every day on the screen.
