Carmen Borrego has been temporarily removed from the coexistence of Survivors 2024 after having serious mental health problems. As the little Campos has recognized, she is not having a good time in the contest because she has become aware that María Teresa Campos, who died in 2023, will not be waiting for her when she returns.
Borrego’s pleas were finally heard by the organization. “I swear to God, I can’t take it anymore, I’m dying, please, please, I’m begging you… I’m getting on the boat and leaving,” he said. However, after speaking with his sister Terelu, he assured that she was not going to abandon.
Despite the difficulties and the fact that her skills as a survivor are rather scarce, the contestant has had the unconditional support of the public and important figures of the program, such as Jorge Javier Vázquez.
The Catalan presenter, in his column for Readings, has defended Borrego’s presence, arguing that her time on the program provides added value: “I understand that there are people who complain about Carmen’s excessive prominence in the first galas but that’s why has taken it. As a call effect.”
In this sense, the communicator has assured that Borrego’s salary, which is the one that earns the best, is more than justified: “Is Carmen Borrego earning what they pay her? For me, yes. When you hire a profile like hers you know what you’re buying.”
Despite the fact that the woman from Malaga is being one of the clear protagonists, and that she is not on the beach, Jorge Javier has pointed out that this will soon stop being the case in view of the cast that is in the program: “Once it is launched editing we have begun to detect with great joy that there are many profiles that are going to generate very diverse plots”.
