Survivientes 2024 is a real joy for Telecinco. The survival reality show has managed to give back to the network audiences that it had not achieved for months, so it has three weekly programs. And part of this success is due to Jorge Javier Vázquez and his acclaimed return to the small screen.
The presenter entered the set after six months of absence, making a deep bow and to the shouts and applause of the audience and the collaborators present. “Thank you very much. And it seems that Jorge Javier Vázquez is very superstitious in this sense.
“They told me about my teeth, which are mine because I paid for them. Each and every one of them,” he continued. The presenter has stated that “every time something important has happened” in his life, one of his covers has come off. So these teeth would be his great amulet.
Something that happened to him when he started university and also happened to him when he was asked to present Sálvame back in 2009: “During breakfast, when I went to bite into a piece of toasted German bread, patapám, goodbye to the tooth.” Therefore, she did not take long to solve the problem that same afternoon and since then the dentist who treated him has become his trusted dentist.
And following this tradition, two days before starting Survivors he had to go to the clinic due to the movement of one of his pieces. “Not only did I have to remove one tooth, but three came out at once because another dentist devised the system in this way so that they would last longer in place,” he added.
Despite being something that could give him headaches, it is a problem that “gives him rest.” “It’s the universe’s way of telling me to be very calm, that the edition is going to be a success,” he said. 2023 has been a very hard year for the presenter. The unexpected end of Sálvame, after 14 years of success, was a real blow for the Catalan, who had to take a break to move forward. In turn, this was coupled with the failure of his Chinese Tales. But it seems that 2024 is going to be a good year for Jorge Javier Vázquez.
