Carmen Borrego, after her abrupt departure from Survivors 2024 due to a state of generalized anxiety, has returned to Spain. And the collaborator does not earn any trouble. Added to her forced abandonment is the unexpected breakup of José María Almoguera, her son, with Palola Olmedo. The ex-couple, however, has come together to put the dots over the i’s in an exclusive in Semana magazine that, against all odds, splashes Borrego.

Little is known about the former contestant’s opinion. On the island she assured that she preferred to keep absolute silence so as not to hurt anyone, something that her son and her ex-daughter-in-law have not taken into account when making these inflammatory statements. However, it is expected that at the gala this Thursday, April 4, she will break her silence.

In her reappearance on television, Borrego will not be alone, since she will be accompanied by her good friend Jorge Javier Vázquez. The presenter, aware of how his partner must be having it, has warned on his Lecturas blog that she now “has a major ordeal left on the sets.”

As he explained, he considers that Borrego has a “complicated mental and emotional architecture”, highlighting “many fears, many phobias, too many accumulated anxieties” that could influence his behavior and responses during the interview.

As if this were not enough, the Catalan communicator, with his characteristic style and a tendency to provoke, is clear about what he will do when Borrego is in front of him. “You already know me: if I don’t provoke, I don’t have fun. On Thursday I will tell her, totally convinced, that she is the moral winner of Survivors 2024.”

This, despite not being true, can end up having a positive impact on the contestant. “And, since I know her, she believes it and everything,” Jorge Javier theorized, suggesting that the interview could lighten Borrego’s sorrows.
