Twitter user, 24-year-old Simone Biles, shared photos from her engagement with Jonathan Owens and posted Tuesday that she had “woken up a fiancée”.
“I cannot wait to spend forever and ever with you. You’re everything that I hoped for and more!” let’s get married!” She tweeted. These photos show Owens, a stunned Biles, getting down on one knee in a gazebo.
Biles and Owens got engaged in Houston Texas, where Biles grew-up. Owens plays for the Houston Texans in the NFL.
In 2020 , the athletes began dating. Both and Biles posted about the engagement via Instagram. Biles said it was “the easiest yes.”
Biles was competing in the Olympics in Tokyo and Biles celebrated their first anniversary. They couldn’t be together because of COVID-19 restrictions.
