Dancing with the Stars is taking shape just a few days after its big premiere on Telecinco. The new dance contest arrives on the Mediaset network next Saturday, January 13, in prime time and with the presentation of Jesús Vázquez and the Argentine Valeria Mazza, who thus returns to the Spanish small screen after projects such as Supermodel 2006 or her appearance this same year on Mask Singer.

There will be 13 celebrities who are part of the cast of Dancing with the Stars, a format very similar to others already known to viewers such as Look Who’s Dancing! or More than dancing!, and which was already broadcast under that name on TVE during 2018. Among them, as Yotele exclusively published this Tuesday, will be the influencer Jonan Wiergo.

This is his new television project after going through Supervivientes 2023, where he became the third finalist of the edition. More recently, he has been part of one of the specials of A tubola, the marble contest presented by Lara Álvarez that has been broadcast on Christmas Saturdays on Telecinco.

Previously, Wiergo was an anonymous contestant on Pekín Express, in what was his debut on the small screen at just 18 years old and prior to his work as an influencer. In addition, she has worked alongside Luján Argüelles in Who likes my follower?, the dating show that Netflix premiered in 2022.

While more and more names are becoming known that will be part of Dancing with the Stars, Mediaset is in charge of confirming the official participation of some of the celebrities announced by various media.

Miguel Torres, Paula Echevarría’s current partner, was the first to make himself publicly known through Telecinco. Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Mala Rodríguez and Adrián Lastra are other names already announced by the chain, who were joined this Tuesday by Sheila Casas, sister of the popular actor Mario Casas.
