Jeezy’s Ex-Fiancée and Former Nanny Speak Out Against Jeannie Mai’s Abuse Claims

Jeezy’s ex-fiancée and former nanny have stepped forward to defend the rapper against allegations of abuse made by his ex-wife, Jeannie Mai. Court documents obtained by HipHopDX reveal that Mahlet Gebremedhin, the mother of Jeezy’s older daughter, Amra, has described him as a devoted father who has never been abusive towards her or their child.

Gebremedhin stated, “I’ve witnessed Jay be a devoted, caring, and present Father to our daughter and his oldest child [son Jadarius]. For almost four years, Jay’s eldest child lived with us and I was able to see their relationship grow every day. At no point was Jay ever physically, mentally, or emotionally abusive to his children or I.”

The rapper’s former nanny, Minhee Hoffler, also came forward to speak about Jeezy, describing him as a hardworking man and father. She believes that he provides his daughters with the necessary support as they grow into young women in the future.

Jeezy also received support from two other women, friends Robyn Wallace and Shelley Nichols. Nichols, who is the wife of a close friend and real estate broker of the rapper, spoke out in defense of Jeezy.

In April, Jeannie Mai accused Jeezy of being abusive throughout their relationship, specifically citing an incident where he allegedly hit her with a closed fist in the face during an argument in a parked car. Jeezy has vehemently denied these claims, calling them a “malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family.”

The couple’s relationship had taken a turn, leading them into a contentious child custody case. Despite the allegations made against him, Jeezy continues to have support from those who know him well.
