This Monday, Kiko Rivera underwent heart surgery at a hospital in Seville, where he had been admitted a few days ago. The state of health of the DJ and son of Isabel Pantoja has kept everyone on edge until his reappearance, confirming that “everything has gone well, thank God”, according to his own words on social networks.
Rivera’s intervention has left behind another totally unexpected image: that of Isabel Pantoja’s visit to the hospital. The television’s mother wanted to put family quarrels aside at such a delicate moment for him and she has supported him during the operation, as confirmed by the journalist Valle Aguilón in Así es la vida.
Kiko underwent surgery “at about 2 in the afternoon, and it seems that everything went well,” said the reporter. “That is the great news: he was admitted on Saturday, he was operated on this afternoon and there was other news on this day, which is the appearance of Pantoja, which we did not expect,” she recounted from the hospital.
Aware of the media repercussion that this reunion would cause, the singer has decided to appear at the main door of the hospital to be seen by all. “He has parked the car and has been seen in all that little walk going up the stairs,” Aguilón continued explaining. Of course, when asked by journalists, “he has limited himself to turning around and offering a greeting.”
Although she was wearing a mask when it was no longer mandatory in health facilities, Isabel Pantoja wanted to stage a possible reconciliation with Kiko Rivera in this way, “a family war that has been going on for 3 years, since 2020, and that has only had a couple of points of calm”, recalls Valle Aguilón.
Along the same lines, Kiko himself thanked his mother for the support through social networks, just a few hours before being operated on. “Thank you, mom, for coming to see me, for spending that afternoon together that was so necessary for us,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
