Isabel Pantoja reappeared before the media this past Thursday in an eye clinic in Córdoba with her great friend Mariló. The tonadillera has been away from the media spotlight for months and focused on dealing with the different health ailments that she has suffered in recent months. For this reason, the singer wanted to travel to the Andalusian city to undergo a series of medical checkups before returning to the stage.
And it was upon leaving the hospital when we were finally able to see the singer happy and smiling with her followers after months missing from public life. Next to her was her great friend Mariló de ella, with whom she starred in numerous headlines weeks ago after being photographed taking a walk through the streets of Córdoba.
The unexpected visit of the tonadillera to Córdoba has generated a lot of expectation among the Córdoba population, but it has also caused her daughter, Isa Pantoja, to speak out about her mother’s current condition. This Friday, Asraf Beno’s wife visited the set of Vamos a Ver to comment on the latest images of her mother receiving the affection of her audience.
”One of the things that I really like is when he is on stage and he is overwhelmed by the affection that people show him, I always say that that is like his reward. Which is not only seen on stage but also in the streets, as seen in the video, there were many people and of all ages. They know that she frequents Córdoba and do not hesitate to give her support, applause, a kiss or photos. There she is, they have my mother not only as a reference in a song, but when she comes out there is support,’ she declared.
Furthermore, the singer’s daughter commented that these outings did her mother a lot of good, more than being locked within the four walls of Cantora. ”When I have gone, you go with all the good vibes, but the days go by and it’s like not… to me personally (…) She isolates herself in Cantora, of her own volition of course, but it doesn’t suit her It’s good to be there, you have to go out and lead a normal life. She is leading a normal life, but for me she is still not what I mean when I say I want her to socialize,’ she asserted.
Despite being very happy for her, Isa Pantoja was reluctant when asked by her colleagues about a possible phone call with her mother. ”Don’t pull my tongue at me because I’m coming from a good mood,” she clarified. Finally, the collaborator explained that her relationship with her mother continued to be just as non-existent. ”I wish her the best, but she is not in my happiness right now,” she confessed.
