First Dates, the Cuatro program presented by Carlos Sobera, has become one of the most popular spaces on the Spanish small screen. Every day, dozens of singles overcome their nerves and go to the most romantic program on television in search of ‘true love’.
This Monday, Agus and Ana starred in one of the most iconic dates in the history of the Mediaset España show. While he defined himself as a simple man and was amused by always wearing shorts, she explained that he is a “passionate” and “sweet” woman.
Ana explained to Carlos Sobera that the sexual issue is very important to her, since she considers herself a very active person. ”I’m looking for a lot of hard work,” she explained without any shame.
Despite the desire that the woman from Girona had to find a man with whom she could experiment and let herself go, the date started very badly. Agus arrived at Cuatro’s restaurant and found a gift: a piece of lingerie. Although she found him curious and amused, the illusion faded when she saw his companion for the evening.
The 53-year-old bachelor did not feel any kind of feeling with his date and uttered a phrase in front of the cameras that surprised the Mediaset workers: ”My first idea was to turn around and leave.”
For the next few minutes, Agus and Ana tried to start a conversation and create a comfortable and fun dynamic, but they couldn’t. The icing on the cake came when the song Gangnam Style began to play and they both began to move without any grace.
The singles were so disconnected that while she claimed in a confessional that he kept looking at her chest, Agus admitted that he was worried about what they would say: ”I’m thinking about what my friends would say.”
The more time passed, the more out of place the single man felt, since he saw that they did not agree on anything and that they did not share hobbies, dreams or aspirations: “When I got to know her it was worse.”
To no one’s surprise, the singles met in the final decision and agreed not to see each other again, since they do not have any type of chemistry and the date had been much better.
”You have not conveyed to me any type of sensation or feeling as a couple (…) I am not looking for a friend, but a life partner,” Agus expressed. For her part, the Catalan woman totally agreed.
