The direct confrontation between Carmen Borrego and José María Almoguera continues to add chapters with each passing week. The production assistant of Así es la vida announced his separation from his wife, Paola Olmedo, while his mother was participating in Supervivientes 2024. Days later, an exclusive interview in which he accused her of causing the breakup generated a great controversy among the magazines of the heart and specialized programs.

This Monday afternoon, however, a new front was opened connected to Gustavo Guillermo, who was María Teresa Campos’ driver. Borrego charged against him and denied her latest statements in TardeAR, ensuring that she was “hurt.” The communicator insisted that she was “serene” and revealed that the driver had chosen to block her from his telephone conversations, appearing forceful in Así es la vida.

“I did defend you on Big Brother VIP 8. You’re lying if you say I didn’t. You have to understand that you decide to enter a reality show a week after my mother died, that I don’t judge it either, and at that moment I was not there to defend or send messages on your reality show, I was there to heal what had happened in my family. And I’m going to say it now, because I’m a little tired. The difference between your reality show and mine is that you went for working with my mother and I went for being Carmen Borrego,” she commented.

The aforementioned, for his part, responded again hours later in TardeAR: “It is true that I have blocked her, what she said bothered me, I don’t remember her telling me that she was calm, she seemed hurt to me and it is normal. She said it live, she made me feel bad and I blocked her. I went to Big Brother thanks to Teresa Campos and I feel proud of that. That she has gone to Survivors because she is Carmen Borrego seems out of place to me, you are also going because you are the daughter of María Teresa Campos.”

The family driver denied and returned Borrego’s multiple accusations. “If I’m sitting on a set like she is and they play ‘Gustavo the Traitor’, I get up and leave, I wouldn’t allow it. It hurts me that he doesn’t stop. I have entered Big Brother and the only thing I have done is speak well of her, I have never said anything. I don’t have to say whether I speak or not, I speak about my experiences, I have only said good things about that family and I am grateful to that family,” were his words.

“I don’t think I show the messages I send you, I send them to you privately. I and Carmen have gotten along well all my life, like brothers, we have argued and we have made peace. I always encourage him to make peace with her son, he has bothered me with what he has done and I am hurt,” Gustavo concluded after the questions generated by Ana Rosa Quintana and her collaborators.
