The Resistance is one of the most popular programs on the small screen. The Movistar space presented by David Broncano began its television career in 2018 in the audiovisual group, managing to remain on the air for seven seasons. However, his contract with the private company was coming to an end this coming summer, which is why RTVE wanted to bet on the presenter and his popular format.

Therefore, starting next season, fans of the television space will be able to continue enjoying it in La 1’s access prime time. At the moment, further details of this new signing of the public channel are unknown, beyond that they had reached an agreement for two seasons and 28 million euros (14 per season).

Until his final goodbye on Movistar, viewers can continue enjoying La Resistencia from Monday to Thursday on the private network. But even though there are less than three months left for the network transfer to take place, David Broncano’s program is not without controversy. The last of them has been starred by his collaborator Grison. This past Monday, the program’s official Instagram account published images of the collaborator in which he pretends to snort drugs through his nose.

After the publication, many social media users have harshly criticized the collaborator’s attitude, while accusing the program of “advocating drugs.” The controversy has been of such magnitude on social networks that Grison himself wanted to respond bluntly to all those who were attacking him.

”Your children must be very proud, how disgusting I felt seeing you,” an Instagram user told him. ”I don’t see drugs there. I have never taken drugs in my life and that is what my children see at home. Healthy diet and sport is what they see. The other thing is a role in a program for people over 18 years old. Therefore, my children do not see it because I control the content they consume,” the collaborator replied.

Furthermore, Grison claimed in his writing that La Resistencia was “an entertainment program and not an educational one.” ”I have the job of entertaining an adult audience that has judgment, I don’t have the job of educating kids, that has to be done by their parents, teachers and guardians,” he declared.
