“Il mio quinta anno a Venezia con l’Amore nel Cuore” (My fifth year in Venice with love in my heart), wrote Georgina Rodríguez upon her arrival this past Tuesday in the Italian city. The model and influencer became the great protagonist of the premiere of the movie Enea with a striking style that was reminiscent of one of the most iconic looks from Pretty Woman.

The star of I’m Georgina walked the red carpet in a spectacular red design from the Vetements spring-summer 2024 collection. Gio caught all of her eyes with a suggestive creation with which she showed off her curves thanks to the gathered detail on the body and waist, which incorporated a second fabric that wrapped around her figure and ended in a knot.

A design that also had a Bardot neckline and a skirt with a long train that blended in with the red carpet. Rodríguez paired the dress with white opera gloves, striking high-heeled patent leather boots, and diamond and ruby ??necklaces by Pasquale Bruni.

This style was reminiscent of the red dress that Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) wears in Pretty Woman when she attends the opera for the first time with Edward Lewis (Richard Gere). In fact, the design created by Marilyn Vance – the person in charge of the film’s costumes – is part of one of the most memorable scenes of the film, when the businessman plays with the box that contains the necklace that leaves the young woman speechless.

The model’s arrival in Venice was already a declaration of intentions. He got off his private plane with a look in the purest Y2K style, that is, with pieces that were successful in the 2000s and are now making a strong return to street style. Vetements, his new favorite brand, signed a total look consisting of a corset, with a sweetheart neckline and gold brooches, which highlighted her chest, and wide-leg, high-waisted pants with rhinestone details.

The celebrity completed the look with black pumps, a Hermès Birkin bag and Chanel glasses with a frame reminiscent of the glasses most worn twenty years ago and Pasquale Bruni jewelry. She also wore her hair ultra straight with some side clips to sophisticate the hairstyle.

Hours later, Rodríguez brought out her most suggestive side with a very short dress, one of her favorite pieces, with which she boasted the effect of infinite legs. A design, baptized as sunset dress for its orange, red and yellow tones that recreate the sunset, which was made of tulle and which stood out for its asymmetrical neckline with a knot and which gave way to a vaporous mini cape.

She finished off the look with red sandals with a heart-stopping heel and with her long hair styled in a sophisticated bow with a parting on the side and very bright makeup, with blush with a sun kissed effect and lips outlined in a nude color with gloss to provide volume.
