This past Sunday, Santa Monica (California) hosted the Film Independent Spirit Awards, the awards that highlight American independent cinema. An event that brought together several of the industry’s celebrities, who caused a sensation on the red carpet with their looks signed by Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Balmain.

Natalie Portman was one of the best dressed guests in a stunning vibrant red two-piece ensemble from Balmain. The actress was radiant in a short-sleeved jacket that incorporated 3D roses, a detail that was also present in the miniskirt and that added volume to her figure. She finished off her look with thin strappy sandals in the same red color.

Jessica Chastain chose a design by Oscar de la Renta, one of her favorite brands, which also had floral details. And this dress from the spring-summer collection had flower petals that covered part of her body and gave way to a skirt full of fringes that provided movement.

Anna Kendrick was another of the actresses who joined the floral print trend with a Markarian dress with a corseted body and Bardot neckline and a voluminous skirt. She completed the look with red sandals that matched the print.

Anne Hathaway, who a day before dazzled at the SAG Awards with a Versace dress that was a nod to The Devil Wears Prada, opted on this occasion for a Valentino jumpsuit full of white and silver paillettes.

Billie Eilish was faithful to her casual casual style with a Valentino outfit consisting of a white shirt and black tie and a black jacket and pants with a gray print.

Emma Roberts opted for fashionable extreme slits with a black Valentino dress. A piece that left her abdomen and back exposed and had a small tail.

Michelle Williams opted for a total Chanel look with a coat-dress with the house’s iconic tweed fabric and flower-shaped buttons and two-tone gold and black ankle boots.

Charles Melton made the difference with a Louis Vuitton ensemble consisting of a white shirt and tie, a blazer and high-waisted wide-leg pants.

Emma Corrin wore a black satin two-piece Miu Miu ensemble, featuring a square-neck top with white patches and a high-waisted pencil skirt. A look that was completed with striking green tights with rhinestones and slingback pumps with kitten heels.

Lily Gladstone wore an ethnic style dress in brown and black that stood out for its open sleeves and the asymmetrical hem of the skirt that left her platform shoes visible.
