Richard Griffiths became one of the most hated characters after playing Vernon Dursley, Harry Potter’s unjust uncle. He appeared in five films in the saga and died in 2013 at the age of 65, after a complication in a coronary operation.
A couple of years ago, the Harry Potter fandom said goodbye to Helen McCrory, the actress who gave life to Narcissa Malfoy, mother of the spoiled Draco Malfoy. The interpreter battled cancer, dying at the age of 52. In addition to appearing in the last three films of the saga, Helen stood out for her role in the successful Peaky Blinders.
One of the most beloved characters in the saga also left us in October 2022. This is Robbie Coltrane, the actor who played the great Hagrid, guardian of Hogwarts and faithful friend of Harry, Ron and Hermione. Robbie passed away at age 72 from a lower respiratory tract infection and heart block.
