This past Thursday, Madrid kicked off the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, which will last until next Monday the 19th. On the first day of the Madrid catwalk, there were two women who took center stage. On the one hand, Tamara Falcó, who presented part of her collection for Pedro del Hierro that is inspired by her honeymoon and the film Out of Africa.

On the other hand, María Bas, a member of the Nebulossa duo that will represent Spain in the next Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place on May 11 in Malmö, Sweden. The singer of Zorra, one of the most sought-after women of the moment for the song’s lyrics, debuted as a model with Pablo Erroz.

The 55-year-old hairdresser did not hesitate to take to the catwalk with great confidence, leaving the attendees who attended this show of the fall-winter 2024/25 collection speechless. Bas wore a black tuxedo filled with embroidered silver stars. A set consisting of a short jacket with a satin lapel that left part of the lingerie bra visible, and pants with a relaxed silhouette.

She combined the suit with New Balance 1960R sneakers in a striking fluorescent green that added a touch of color to this look, which she defended with her blonde hair combed with volume and quite natural makeup, with shadows in earth tones and lips with a touch of gloss.

With this style, Pablo Erroz wanted to defend that fashion has no age and that his designs can be worn by both 20- and 50-year-old women. A groundbreaking collection that had the Alicante woman as its visible face, which also broke with the traditional canon of beauty seen on the catwalks.

Her husband Mark Dasousa could not be missing from the front row of the parade. “I really want to, it’s exciting,” she expressed minutes before starting the parade. The Nebulossa member also spoke about the controversy that has arisen after her victory at the Benidorm Fest due to the use of ‘zorra’ in the song they will take to Eurovision. “All the debates are good,” said Dasousa, who added that they are already preparing their performance for the final and that both he and María only think about “having fun and enjoying it.”
