Fourth of July Celebrations in Kern County: Festive Fun and Fireworks

Fourth of July celebrations are in full swing in Kern County, bringing festive fun and fireworks to thousands of spectators. Professional fireworks shows are back, adding to the excitement of the holiday.

In Tehachapi, the All-American 4th of July Festival at the Tehachapi Municipal Airport promises a day filled with activities. The event kicks off with a 5K at 7 a.m., followed by the Ed Grimes Memorial Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Live music will be playing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the “Bad Bulls” event at the Rodeo Grounds will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The highlight of the day will be the Fireworks Spectacular at 9 p.m. at the Tehachapi Municipal Airport.

In Lake Isabella, the 2024 Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza is set for Saturday, July 6. The fireworks display will be launched from Engineer’s Point shortly after dark, providing a stunning show for all attendees.

Taft will be hosting its Fourth of July Celebration at Taft Rails to Trails on Wednesday, July 3. The event will feature a vendors fair, live music, and fireworks from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., offering a fun-filled evening for the community to enjoy.

Delano will be holding the Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks Show at Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 2. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees can enjoy a car show, food, music, and vendors before the fireworks show at dusk lights up the sky.

In Wasco, the Red, White & Boom Community Fireworks event at Barker Park on Saturday, June 29, will bring the community together for a night of fun. Vendors, music, and fireworks will be on hand to entertain residents and visitors alike.
