Last July Jacquemus presented his Le Chouchou collection in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. The brand’s creative director, Simon Porte Jaccquemus, showed his new designs with models such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratjkowski, who captured everyone’s attention with his styling.
The tops appeared in the parade with delicate white designs, with lace and volumes. But it was the footwear that caught everyone’s attention due to its eccentricity. The designer opted to modernize the comfortable ballet flats and presented a hybrid between this shoe and high-heeled pumps on the catwalk.
A model that now has its affordable version at Mango, which has joined the trend of eccentric footwear. The Catalan brand has included in its latest collection some striking ballet flats made of leather and that have a 6.5 centimeter stiletto heel, a measurement that is not comfortable for many.
The black ballerinas are also surprising because they are slingbacks, leaving the heel and ankle completely open. Another detail is that the round toe is maintained and it has a small decorative bow that gives the Coquette touch to this shoe that also has an elastic band so that the foot is more supported.
Mango’s high-heeled ballet flats have a price of 69.99 euros and are currently available in all sizes, from 36 to 41. This design promises to compete with the fishnet ballet flats that the brand has already made viral this season and that has conquered influencers like Violeta Mangriñán.
