For 16 euros: Lidl's ugly Christmas sweaters designed to match your pets

Lidl once again leaves its customers speechless with its new clothing collection. After surprising with some high-heeled pumps that conquered Carmen Lomana or reissuing her most viral teddy coat, the German supermarket chain has let itself be carried away by the Christmas spirit with its line of sweaters.

The company has joined the Ugly Christmas Sweater trend, with an edition in which, once again, it is committed to using its three corporate colors: red, yellow and blue. Three shades that customers recognize at first sight and that are now the stars of two sweaters that are designed to be worn with pets.

The chain has just put “De tal palo, tal patita” on sale in its online store, a fun collection that invites men and women to wear Christmas sweaters that are also available in a mini version for their dogs. As stated in a statement, “a garment that will not only highlight the physical resemblance between the two, but also the resemblance in their daily lives and the great team they make up. “One more element that we are sure will strengthen the ‘Lidlmania’ phenomenon among fans of the brand.”

The actress Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo is the protagonist of this campaign in which she appears dressed in the red sweater that matches the one worn by her dogs, Lobo and Furbi. This is one of the designs in the collection, which is completed with a blue version. The two pieces include Christmas elements such as fir trees, gifts or socks.

The adult jersey is available from size S to XL and is priced at 9.99 euros. The model for pets is for sale in various sizes and costs 5.99 euros. That is, for less than 16 euros you can celebrate this Christmas together with your best friend.
