The seventh season of Temptation Island once again tested the trust and loyalty of the contestant couples, the skills and nerves of the tempters, and the psyche of the spectators. The betrayals, the moments in bed, the crying and the fights covered a multitude of covers in gossip magazines and hours of debate, particularly with the final section of the program: The debate of temptations, presented by Sandra Barneda.
In this edition, one of the duos that had the most to talk about was the one formed by Álex and Marieta, who ended up throwing things over their heads on different occasions. After arriving on the island, the Elche native fell into Sergio’s temptation, causing her partner to respond immediately by contacting Gabriela. However, her ending was one of the most unexpected, after the person involved kicked her suitor off the island.
During the broadcast of this Wednesday’s debate, Sandra Barneda displayed on screen the images of the reunion that both had in the closed space provided by Mediaset, which generated debate both in the scene itself and on the set afterwards. Marieta herself felt hurt by her version of the program, a detail with which the collaborators in the Fuencarral studio did not agree.
Barneda defined her time in the contest as a “windstorm,” but she was not prepared for what was coming, and that is that a total of five people ended up intertwined during the eight months following what happened in the Dominican Republic. First, Álex accused Marieta of being “the most incoherent person in the history of Temptation Island,” before a scene in a taxi brought them face to face again.
According to her, she gave him a hug because he needed one too, while the victim defends that the woman spent three hours on the trip crying. The situation ended up being completely derailed with the entrances of Sergio, Miguel and Gabriela. The first of the three tempters acknowledged that he was attracted in the first instance, but that his subsequent behavior did not seem appropriate, always talking about Alex behind the bonfires.
But it was Miguel who had the last and hottest words, and he revealed that after the contest he was in brief relationships with Marieta and Gabriela, respectively. The suitor even revealed that the contestant wanted to go live with him in Córdoba, something that the woman from Alicante angrily denied. As if that weren’t enough, she also accused her of entering the show without being in love with Álex.
