Eva Longoria is in love with Spain and it is not a secret. The American actress has achieved everything in Hollywood, but where she has really found peace and tranquility is in another corner quite far from there: Spain. Specifically, on the Costa del Sol, where her family’s roots are.
The actress is in love with Marbella, where she bought a fabulous villa a few months ago and, from where, as honorary president of the Global Gift Foundation, she helps organize its famous and ostentatious fundraising activities. A busy schedule that has led the actress to make a decision: to temporarily move with her family to our country.
According to the Page Six portal, the actress and her husband, José Bastón, will temporarily move to Spain with their son, Santiago (5). A transfer that is planned for the coming weeks, since the protagonist of the legendary Desperate Housewives and her husband have many projects prepared for the second half of the year.
It is not a permanent move, since both continue with their projects in Los Angeles (California, USA) and Mexico, where Bastón is originally from, who is part of the international team of the Televisa channel, the largest communication company in Latin America. . In addition, the couple has their house in Beverly Hills for sale, so they are looking for a new home for the family.
At the moment, it is unknown if the actress and her family will establish their residence in Marbella or, on the contrary, will choose Madrid as their center of operations. However, given how busy Longoria’s schedule remains during the summer in different parts of the Costa del Sol, everything seems to indicate that the family villa will be the point where they settle.
“The first time I came to Marbella, two decades ago, it was love at first sight. I said to myself: ‘One day I will live here’. Then we created the Global Gift Foundation, and this is where María Bravo and I celebrated the first gala,” the actress said in an interview with ¡Hola! magazine.
Longoria is usually traveling continuously between the United States and Spain, and her home is frequently visited not only by her, but also by her family. “We have many bedrooms, because it is a vacation home and my mother, my sisters and all their children come. Of course, we also have a big kitchen. I love the kitchen, it is always the heart of the house. And the one here is the best of all.”
