On March 13, Netflix will premiere Bandidos, its new series filmed in the Mexican state of Yucatán and starring Ester Expósito. The Madrid native plays Lilí, a scammer who, together with Miguel (Alfonso Dosal), Wilson (Pablo Medina) and other bandits are willing to find a treasure that has been lost for many years.
A production that “respects and honors” the Mayan world, as Expósito assured this week in the press presentation of this new project. For the occasion, he once again opted for one of the styles that he likes the most and that he has worn on numerous occasions in recent months: the style inspired by the trends of the 2000s, better known as Y2K.
Young people of generation Z have a special preference for clothing and accessories that were successful in street style more than twenty years ago. On this occasion, Ester opted for one of the star outfits worn by celebrities such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez.
The protagonist of Elite made an impact with a long-sleeved bullfighter-type jacket and medium-rise, loose-fitting pants. Two pieces that had a worn effect and that combined with a navy blue cropped top with thick straps and built-in hoops that left her abdomen visible.
She completed the total denim look with crocodile-effect boots that had a square toe and that made the difference, since in the midst of the leopard print boom, the actress has shown that there are also other options to join the animal print fashion.
Ester took care of even the smallest detail of her look, since she tied her hair up in a very 2000s hairstyle and wore makeup with silver shadows and silver jewelry.
