Who does not like to try various types of food, different types of dishes with flavors from around the world, because to achieve this you just have to take a tour of one of the gastronomic festivals that come together during these days to celebrate the arrival of good time. In fact, this weekend, in Barcelona, ??three events are taking place at the same time, so the most gourmets will be able to choose between multiple options to eat and drink, as well as learn more about the history of the city.

And it is that more and more are joining the street food trend to discover delight through small dishes made at the moment. So if you don’t have plans for this weekend, take note.

In the impressive Bellesguard tower, at the foot of Collserola, one of Gaudí’s least-known works is located. The architect built a house with medieval airs on the ancient ruins of a castle with history. The old palace was built by order of King Martin I of Aragon, here he married Margarita Prades in a mass officiated by Pope Luna, upon the king’s death, the castle was abandoned.

A building that has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and that will host the Eat Gaudí celebration in its fantastic gardens with views of the entire city. The Pla de Palau is a historic square in the city where we can find the old Lonja that now houses the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the old Barcelona customs house, which was built between 1790 and 1792, and the Barcelona Nautical School built in the 1920s. Since the 13th century it was the place that linked the town with the port through a gate. In its beginnings it was only a flat piece of land located in front of the wall that allowed entering and leaving the city, and it was not until 1822, when the square, the work of Josep Massanés, was projected.

And it is here where, one more year, and there are already 10, coinciding with the Festival of the Born-La Ribera neighborhood, Born Street Food will take place.

A festival that will have the participation of 16 leading gourmet restaurants and shops, from the Mexican tacos of Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana to the renowned cannelloni of the 7 Portes bar and Jon Cake’s desserts, among many others, and all with the best live music and good atmosphere.
