In this case, it is estimated that the musical instrument will go on sale for between $30,000 and $50,000. She will also try to sell some of her most iconic pieces: her ivory and gold ensemble designed by Annie Reavey (she will sell it for between $8,000 and $12,000), silver leather platform boots (which will try to sell for more than $5,000), some Versace shirts, etc.
But what is the most expensive thing in the auction? Everything seems to indicate that the most precious thing in the collection that will go on sale is a painting from 2017 by the urban artist Banksy, in which you can see a masked man with a bouquet of flowers. The price of said painting is almost 1.5 million dollars.
This is not the composer’s first auction, but it is his first in 23 years. In 2003, Sotheby’s auctioned some of his belongings in London and, in 1988, John sold some works of art.
