Elena Tablada has been saved from expulsion on Dancing with the Stars. It was not something simple because she had Miguel Torres in front of her and, in addition, she showed up to the gala in the middle of a crisis with Adrián Esperón, her dance teacher.
During the ninth gala, Tablada and Esperón performed an English waltz titled When You Believe. This performance comes after the couple experienced a period of intense friction, which revealed an atmosphere of discord during rehearsals. “The divorces are piling up, I haven’t finished with one yet and I’m already starting another,” Tablada commented with humor, referring to her differences with Esperón.
The dancer also shared his point of view on the conflict with the businesswoman, and pointed out that the long days of preparation together contributed to increasing the tension. “They have been together for quite a few days and I changed there at a point in training when I was a little more severe and she didn’t like it,” he explained.
Tablada opened up at the tenth gala about the difficulties he faced with his dance partner and explained in detail the origin of their conflict. The origin of the anger seems to be a misunderstanding during one of her rehearsals.
According to the Cuban woman’s testimony, at one point she considered that Esperón’s method was too aggressive, which was misinterpreted by him. “He says that I called him aggressive, but I didn’t call him that. I felt that the training was being aggressive,” Elena clarified. This misunderstanding grew worse and with thicker words. “Telling you that I feel you treat me badly is not the same as calling you an abuser.”
Despite the difficulties, Tablada has shown herself willing to reconcile and improve her relationship with Esperón, highlighting the importance of communication and mutual understanding: “I apologized to him and told him that I would not refer to him in those terms again.”
