David Valldeperas has gone to Querido hater, the podcast that Malbert presents on the Podimo platform, to speak openly about how he experienced the end of Sálvame. The former director of the Telecinco program has addressed his former home in harsh terms, especially regarding the management of a cancellation that materialized last June.

However, in his speech he not only had words for the leadership of Mediaset. Valldeperas has also had the opportunity to reveal her current relationship with many of the most recognized faces in the 14-year history of the format, and in particular, she has had words for Paz Padilla. The presenter left Sálvame abruptly in January 2022 and was fired for controversially leaving the set.

Malbert wanted to know what was behind Padilla’s departure, something with which David Valldeperas has been emphatic: “Our mood was broken,” he says. The television broadcaster says he does not currently have “any” relationship with the communicator, nor does he want to resume it in any way.

“I got along very well with her, and working we got along,” explains the presenter, always in the past tense. The end of their relationship, however, was after this controversial moment and even after the cancellation of Sálvame. “There was an episode that disenchanted me,” said Valldeperas without wanting to go into more details.

According to the version defended by Valldeperas, Paz Padilla “believes, or believed” that the former director of Sálvame is also “part of his enemies, and it is not true,” he has stated flatly. “I thought I was affectionate with him, and given what I saw, it was surely affection also out of interest,” she says in her interview.

The television station considers that the presenter’s good attitude towards him may be due to the fact that Padilla would like to “have an ally in the direction, in the face of a complicated show”, stated Valldeperas, who has also made it clear that the presenter had stopped enjoying the program. A long time ago.
