It has been a month since the RTVE Board of Directors made the decision to sign David Broncano to face his program La Resistencia with El Hormiguero by Pablo Motos. A hiring that has brought a lot of queue because some have not hesitated to point out that there could be a politicization of the space.
These criticisms join those that have been generated by the money that it will cost Public Television to adapt this space in its prime time access: 14 million euros for each of the two seasons. Even so, the figure per program is less than what each episode of the current La 1 series costs. And to celebrate this new hire, the presenter has decided to take a romantic getaway with his partner, Silvia Alonso.
The presenter and the actress have been photographed at the Barajas airport, in Madrid, upon their return from a short vacation that they have decided to spend in total privacy. Europa Press has been able to capture the moment of arrival, despite the fact that they have tried to go unnoticed.
The couple has opted for a casual and carefree look, dressed in a jacket for the cold. Something that has made them achieve their goal of not being disturbed until the paparazzi became aware of their presence. They both waited in the taxi queue holding hands, but as soon as they saw the camera, they took on a more distant attitude.
And as it is not surprising, neither David Broncano nor Silvia Alonso has given a single clue as to where they have decided to spend this getaway as a couple. So the destination they have taken remains a total secret until one of them wants to comment on it.
After these five days, they have returned to the apartment they share in the center of Madrid. The presenter and the actress have been together since September 2021, after meeting at La Resistencia when Silvia Alonso came as an interviewee.
An encounter on television that occurred again years later, in March 2023, when the actress went to promote her new film Eres tú. And, as usual on that show, she couldn’t help but talk about controversial topics like sex and money. “I answer for both of us, or what?” Alonso assured when asked how many sexual relations she had had in the last month.
A love story that seems to be going from strength to strength judging by the plans they are making together. This is added to the happiness they must feel for Broncano’s professional future, who will make the leap to national television next September.
