The murder of Edwin Arrieta continues to be one of the most current media topics. At the beginning of August we learned the news that Daniel Sancho had confessed to the murder and dismemberment of the well-known Colombian surgeon on the Thai island of Ko Pha Ngan.
Since then, Rodolfo Sancho’s son remains in Koh Samui prison waiting for the trial to take place. At the moment he has already received visits from his two parents, Rodolfo Sancho and Silvia Bronchalo, and from his lawyer. Unlike the mother of the Spanish chef, the actor has already returned to Spain, after having stayed in Thailand for a week.
Although more than a month has passed since the events occurred, the truth is that every day we learn new information about this high-profile case, which has already gone around the world. This same Tuesday we learned, thanks to the Hoy por hoy program on Cadena Ser, that the alleged murderer had friends in common with Felipe Juan Froilán de Marichalar.
”There is a detail that they told me the other day about Froilán, which doesn’t mean anything, don’t look for cause and effect or anything. But it’s curious. It turns out that it seems that the grandson of the emeritus king Juan Carlos, that is Froilán, and Daniel Sancho, known as the dismemberer of Thailand, follow each other in networks,” Àngels Barceló confessed.
The journalist Martín Bianchi Tasso gave more details of this curious connection. ”They followed each other on social networks, very little has been said about this and it catches my attention. When the Daniel Sancho incident happened, they followed each other on social media. So I asked friends from Froilán and they told me that they had many friends in common. In fact, Daniel Sancho’s girlfriend was very close friends of Froilán’s friends,’ he declared.
”Asking these friends, they told me that even Daniel Sancho tried to pull strings to get Froilán to help him in some way after the episode. And then Froilán didn’t even respond,’ he claimed. After this, the grandson of the emeritus king immediately stopped following Rodolfo Sancho’s son. ”They even told me that they have met at some point,” the journalist asserted.
