More than a month after Daniel Sancho’s alleged crime became known, public reactions to what happened continue to occur. The Spanish chef, son of actor Rodolfo Sancho, is accused of murdering Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, something for which he is serving preventive detention in Koh Samui prison.

Both Rodolfo and Silvia Bronchalo, Daniel’s parents, have already gone to visit him in the Asian country, although separately as there is hardly any relationship between them. Now, it is another relative of the Spaniard who breaks her silence to express her opinion on the case in which Sancho is the absolute protagonist: it is Noela Aguirre, mother of Rodolfo and grandmother of the accused.

In a statement to Europa Press reported by the program Así es la vida, on Telecinco, Aguirre assures that he is “fine”, although he cannot hide his sadness over everything that has happened over the last month. “I’m pretty well, I’m very sad because I don’t see my grandson, who lives with me, and waiting for him to come back, nothing more,” he explained.

Due to the great relationship that existed between grandmother and grandson, Noela was adamant when asked about a possible trip to Thailand to visit him in prison. “Yes, as soon as she can,” she responded to the Europa Press reporter. However, she admits that she has not yet been able to talk to him via video call at any time.

Noela Aguirre claims to trust in justice and, in particular, in the innocence of her grandson Daniel. “Of course, I trust in justice, I trust in the truth of my grandson and I trust in the gods, in Jesus and in Buddha,” she said.

Rodolfo Sancho’s mother also had words for her son, of whom she initially only said “that he is gorgeous as always.” Finally, asked about her recent controversy with the media in Thailand, Aguirre justified what she experienced there: “You also arrive when a poor traveler arrives, to see his son there,” she said. .
