Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were one of the star couples at the Clooney Foundation For Justice, the annual gala organized by George Clooney and his wife, Amal; to celebrate the second annual Albie Awards – named after judge Albie Sachs, who worked to end apartheid in South Africa.
The gala is one of the most anticipated events in New York, as a whole list of superstars attend. However, the protagonist of the James Bond saga managed to shine with his own light thanks to his original hairstyle.
With wavy bangs and visibly longer hair, the actor almost managed to outshine the rest of those attending the event, even though they had put on their best clothes. To get that volume in his bangs, his stylists would proceed to shape it when it was wet with the help of a dryer or air brush. In just a few minutes you can achieve that desired shape.
Accompanying his sophisticated hairstyle, which returns to his usual blonde after a few years in which he has sported his natural gray hair, the actor chose to give a vintage touch to his style with metal-frame glasses.
In terms of styling, he was not far behind. The actor knew how to take advantage of his athletic build with a blue double-breasted suit with a matching bow tie, accompanied by elegant black lace-up dress shoes, which undoubtedly gave the perfect touch to his appearance.
An elegance that his wife, the Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz, undoubtedly knew how to match, who dressed for the occasion in an elegant long strapless dress with a deep V-neckline that fit her body like a glove. Accompanying her spectacular dress, to which she wanted to give all the prominence, the Dead Ringers performer chose to wear minimal accessories: a rectangular black handbag and some delicate bracelets to adorn her wrists.
Her characteristic brunette hair looked loose, giving a casual touch to the whole outfit.
The happy couple couldn’t stop smiling throughout the evening, which they shared with friends and colleagues such as Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Jodie Turner-Smith; the singer Mary J. Blige or the models Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford, who came with her husband, Rande Gerber.
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz met in 1994, while both were participating in Les Grandes Horizontales. At the time, the actor was still married to his ex-wife, Fiona Loudon, mother of his eldest daughter, Ella Craig (31). The performers did not begin dating until 2010, at which time they met again in a film project, Dream House; and they secretly married a year later.
The couple has a five-year-old daughter in common. The actress also has a son, Henry, from her relationship with film director Darren Aronofsky.
