A few days ago, Megan Fox became the protagonist of the controversy for asking her followers for money to help with the medical expenses of Brittany Boyce’s father, her manicurist, who is sick with pancreatic cancer. Money that the professional in question would be trying to raise through a crowdfunding campaign, aspiring to get $30,000 (about 27,345 euros, in exchange, approximately).

A request that squeaked enormously at the actress’s followers, who did not hesitate to criticize her for two reasons: that she did not contribute any money given that her assets are estimated at almost 8 million euros; and that she had spent more than that amount on a manicure just last year. Well, the protagonist of Transformers does not seem to have sat well with her criticism, so she has decided to speak out, also through Instagram, calling them all “weird”.

“Hey freaks. Do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe Brit [the manicurist] doesn’t want her celebrity clients donating large amounts of money because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?” ?” The actress, visibly upset, asked her followers.

“So instead he asked me to share the campaign so more people could contribute small amounts of money to help them achieve their goal,” he explains, “I just did what he asked.”

The actress assures that whatever she asks for personally, she will do it, privately. “What you are not going to accuse me of is being miserable or not being generous with her,” he says, adding a challenge for all of them: “Try again another day -probably tomorrow- with a different nonsense, bunch of psychopaths” .

Luckily for those truly affected, the donations were not long in coming, and they have already raised more than $8,000 of the $60,000 they now raise. “My goal is to help them with their medical expenses so they can focus on their recovery and not the stress of money,” Boyce says.

Even so, many of the followers of the protagonist of Jennifer’s Body still do not believe what happened, because in addition to public donations, there are platforms that allow contributions to be made anonymously and privately. “I can’t imagine that a person would be so dumb as not to know and not participate, especially if they have such an amount of money,” said another of her followers.
