Criticism of Juanma Castaño for a homophobic comment about two 'Masterchef' contestants: ''Six children have entered and they continue to give it their all''

The new edition of Masterchef continues to give a lot to talk about. The Spanish Television culinary program is currently broadcasting its twelfth edition with a casting that has not gone unnoticed among the followers of the space and that has generated a multitude of controversies on social networks, such as the abandonment of Tamara and the questioned attitude of the judges.

This past Monday, May 20, La 1 de TVE broadcast a new installment of the program in which the applicants received an unexpected visit from their relatives. In addition to these emotional reunions, another of the great guests of the night was Juanma Castaño, winner of the sixth edition of Masterchef Celebrity. A victory that he had to share as something exceptional with his partner Miki Nadal, since both were declared fair winners by the professional jury.

However, the visit of the Masterchef winner has not gone unnoticed on social networks due to some controversial comments he made regarding the passionate reunion between a contestant and his girlfriend. During the first test of the night, the candidates experienced one of the most exciting moments of the program: the reunion with family members.

Angela, one of the contestants in the contest, was receiving a visit from her girlfriend, Amanda. The two, who had not seen each other for months, melted into a passionate kiss in the middle of the kitchens. After their reunion, the rest of the contestants continued to receive visits from their families. However, Angela and Amanda decided to completely ignore the rest of the emotional reunions, as they continued completely immersed in their romantic moment. An attitude that did not go unnoticed by the MasterChef winner: ”Six children have entered and they continue to give it their all”.

The sports commentator’s words have given a lot of talk in recent hours on social networks, provoking a multitude of criticisms. ”Why do people keep watching this show…”, ”Oh no, the kids are going to see… two people kissing. Scandal”, ”Let them cancel that program now. It’s not just the judges anymore, it’s that it’s a collaborator and they are those on the editing team who saw it as a great idea to leave that clip.” ”If it were a heterosexual couple and the one who entered was the man: great exaltation of the guy’s romanticism, a great show”, ”When are they going to cancel this program?” were some of the comments.
